Steve Ledsham, director of Church Farm, Thurstaston, announced his retirement plans today. Steve and his family have owned and run Church Farm for over 20 years, building it from a cattle farm to a thriving award-winning family attraction. The farm has just gone on sale with Savills plc- a global real estate services provider listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Steve said ‘We’ve had a great deal of fun at Church Farm and I’m pleased of what our team has achieved over the years. I feel honoured to have owned such a special place. We have had lots of adventures and now it’s time to hand over Church Farm to someone else to enable them to put their stamp on the business and make memories of their own’.  Steve, and his wife Brenda, plan to spend more time travelling and having fun with their grandchildren.

Steve stressed that the farm activities will remain largely unchanged for 2016: ‘The farm is currently on sale and we don’t have any offers yet. Even once sold the paperwork of the sale will likely take over 12 months to complete and we’ll keep our customers informed as things progress’.
